Magnex exhaust de cat pipe

   Hi all I have a stainless magnex exhaust system with a cat I want to remove the cat for track use so do I have to get a magnex de cat pipe or will any decat pipe fit

   I used a generic decat pipe with my magnex cat back exhaust a couple of years back and that was okay so i'd imagine yes.

   do you not lose power when you take CAT out

   No you willy! The cat is very restrictive and removing it allows exhaust gases to exit and flow faster increasing performance but derestricting gases too much has the opposite effect by losing back pressure. Theres a sticky if you want to read up and educate yourself
