1.1 to vtr conversion

   I am picking up a vtr lump with a 3 plug ecu. Was just wondering if the wiring loom would be fine or needs to be changed and if the 1.1 gearbox would be fine with the vtr lump or to get the vtr gearbox

   What's the 1.1 you have currently? single plug / 3 plug?
   
   Someone else will be able to answer your loom questions but the 1.1 gearbox will be fine. The VTR gearbox has longer ratios, so you will get better acceleration from the 1.1 box at the cost of some top end.

   Well you might aswell go 16v if you're going to the trouble of replacing the engine!! boost aswell if you have the funds!
