Grill problems

So I'm looking to change my grill, I thought it would be any easy job undid all the screws for it and thought it would pop out but it wouldn't move?

If anyone can point me in the right direction to getting it out, which brings me on to if I get a mesh grill how do you access the bonnet catch to open it?

    Thanks in advance

You must have missed a screw, once you undo all the torn screws it just pops out.

When you mesh a grill you need to cut out enough room at the top of it to still have access to the bonnet catch.

I thought I'd got them all, will give it another try tomorrow, can you buy them pre cut at all?

You can buy meshed grills on eBay and on here, they pop up every now and again. It's not hard to do though, there is a guide on here.

Making your own meshed grill is easy and there's a guide on here.

Make sure you line the hole you cut out of the mesh for getting to the bonnet catch or you will end up scratching your fingers on it when you use the catch. You can just smooth the edges but lining it is a better option. Imo.

Found it but I haven't got half the tools you need, will probably spray mine for now and look out for one being sold
