#2No, you need to remove all the air box pipe work and bits. At moment you have two filters!
I'm not sure that is the correct one for your car!
This is how a 1.1 SPi (single point injection) with filter should look
-
#3Or like this
-
#4i have cut the air filter out so its just the box at the moment buddy should the whole box also be out?
-
#5That made me giggke take the box off on the rjght with the filter in and put the cone where the box used to be because that filter wont fit right on the tb.
-
#7Rip everything out and heatsheild and shit pipe.
-
#8Look at the 2nd pic, the filter attaches directly onto the throttle body at the rear of the engine.
Remove all the pipework and boxes! -
#9Where does breather pipe go
-
#10Either route it into filter or fit a breather filter or run to a catch tank.
-
#11How do I do that
-
#12Or do I get one of those small filter things and put on the end of breather pipe
-
#14Ok cool so I dont need the sensor pipes at all
-
#16Should've just left it standard
-
#17Yeah thats fine carefull you will have mad power now.
-
#18Not the best set-up, was it a universal filter??
Remove the last bit of the air box and fit direst to throttle body - look at the above pics!
You'll need some cold air ducting, otherwise when it gets warm you will get the filter sucking lots of hot air! -
