increase my saxo performance?

    hi i have a 1.1 saxo desire 2003 and i want to know if there are any cheapish ways to make it more powerful, what can i do to it any help

    Spoiler, bodykit, few subs in the boot, and a air filter from halfords

    Theres all this^ but would probably add so much power, it'd be uncontrollable. More realistic options with a 1.1 is you can't do much, you could change the exhaust and air filter and intake but you wouldn't get much. Best thing to do is change the engine for a VTR or VTS engine.
    VTR engine would be better because the 1.1 and VTR engines look very similar so you could "forget" to tell your insurers obviously that would be illegal and i'd never recommend anything like that though!

    This, except your then need to swap over your rear axle for one with disc brakes (ideally). So really your better off just saving for a VTR/S, or even better, something not french.

    Yeah for all the hassle of changing a 1.1 over its a lot easier to just buy a vts/gti and go from there.

    Lose as much weight as possible from the car, decent induction kit with cold air feed, de-restrict the exhaust.
