1.1 backbox

    Mystandard backbox has just given up so im after another for my 1.1. Im only looking to spend about £30 so what half decent ones can i get for that? I dont want anything stupid, just something with a nice smooth tone, i was thinking maybe a cherry bomb 2/2.5"?

    Apart from just putting a standard back box on and leaving it alone, the best sounding my old 1.1 commuter ever sounded was when I had a 4-2-1 I had lying around on it, a straight through centre pipe and a standard back box.

    Didn't look gash, didn't drone, and sounded "ok" under load.

    Either way, I'd just grab a standard one and be done with it.

    Many years ago I ran a 3.9 V8 Range Rover Classic. Being a youth I chopped every silencer and cat out of it, and welded a single 15" long Cherry Bomb to the back of it.

    Smooth is one way to put it. Just not the right way. Lolzzz
