hi im working on a c3 1.6 16v after some numpty put the battery booster on the wrong way and fried the internal fusebox and alternator, the internal fusebox (mounted in the dash). i have ordered a used one of ebay (SAME MODEL) now the car will not start and nothing works i can not even get my diagnostics to read the ecu, i have spoken to Citroen and they said you can only reprogram the bsi and a new unit i think this is bollox so im here to find out if there any auto sparkys who can do the job or advise?

I think the bsi can be reprogrammed using peugeot planet. Have a google and see if anyone near you has it.

Have a search on that forum for people near you. There's even a thread with locations of people who have it.

spoke to rolling motion the chap there is going to spoof the old bsi to the new part and also sort out the mileage as when i tested new part it took it from 50k to 78k at the cost of £120 not to bad considering its a specialist
