Engine Hokey Cokey

Taking out VTS engine and box and replacing. Easy enough to remove out the top with gearbox still attatched?

I'm just sat here wondering before I start. I've already removed power steering pump, rad, manifold, battery, air box, etc.

In the past, if I'm on my own, I've found it easiest to drop the engine and box as one onto the floor, then lift the car as high as possible and drag the engine out from underneath. It's a bit awkward tipping the engine and lifting it to get it round the battery tray without smacking anything if you're on your own.

I will have help of 1 other person. Bonnet off. I've got a hoist and a tilt-able load leveller. I'll try out the top if it's possible, with dropping it all to the floor as backup. Cheers!

In that case you're laughing, out the top no bother.
