Did you even read his post, it wasn't a long post and he clearly states he has both complete cars, cmon man.

Birchy, if you have 2 cars, you have everything you need. If you have facey feel free to PM me and I'll add you, I've recently converted a 94 plate S1 106 to 2003 VTS running gear, tank, looms etc so I'll likely be of some use. It's pretty easy, and as you say, you have everything you need already.

It's a bigger job than doing a petrol as you have to swap the tanks etc, but definitely possible if yoi have the time.

    What, like I did?

It's a doddle man, I swapped tanks as it was easier than fucking on swapping pump housings and retro fitting a fuel return.

The tank is held in with 2 nuts and sits on a ledge, once you've undone the push fittings on the fuel lines, unclipped the filter and dropped the filler neck (3 screws) it'll just drop out.

It's literally a 30 minute job including jacking the car up to remove a tank.

As you'll be loom swapping anyway as you have a complete VTS, you'll have the interior carpet etc out, there are push fittings at either end of the fuel lines, they're plastic and flex, and you can just pull the derv ones out and pop the VTS ones in.

Cheers mate will definitely be onto you its in for mot in its standard 1.5 dirty d state atm so project is on hold for next couple of weeks, feel pretty confident for the tank change, just the wiring thatl be my downfall, is it poss to use the whole of the vts dash, dials loom? Wip out 106 and fit the lot of the saxo bits? Or does 106 loom plug to vts + extra wires here and there?

You can use the vts interior and engine looms / dials / tank and the 106 dash board.

    Drop me a message

I wouldn't of thought it would be too bad with two cars together, just un ceasing some bolts may be a pain as they're old now lol!
    Good luck

Gut one shell, strip and swap everything from the donor shell. Easy but time consuming.
