#2Flush, you should have put then on before you sealed it really i've done that before and one split. Just be careful
-
#3Cheers Cam I thought so. One on the left was done before the ladders went on. Second slipped on no bother.
-
#4Just throwing a spanner in the works here,, I've always pushed mine on as far as they will go and never had a problem, what potential problems could arise if this is wrong?
-
#5I always push mine in a bit, never had a leak yet!
-
#6To be honest I can't see problems from either. Oil behind the seal and as long as the cam ladders are sealed well it's going nowhere.
-
#7ive always pushed them in on other engines and advised someone to do the same on here couple years ago.. which was wrong apparently and several ppl spat their dummies.
theres allegedly an oil drain behind the seal which will be blocked if you push it all the way in
ive seen many like that with no problems in the past..but answering youre question.. flush -
#8There's a small oil hole to the back of the seal hence not pushing them all the way in.
Push they flush or a tad beyond flush.
EDIT: can see the hole on the right hand camshaft with no seal fitted at the bottom.
