    I was informed today Keiren bought the B8 dampers and presumably the B6's he also sold recently as "would need rebuild" and has passed them off as "No leaks, Fully working, They compress and rebound smoothly as they should".

    I now also have his address now so perhaps i should sent mummy & daddy Crawford a letter informing them of there son's dodgy dealings... or see if PC Plod is interested in opening a fraud case against him.

    Yes,he told me the b6 Billy's weren't damaged when he sent them and I must have wrecked them myself,unwrapping them!!!.threads in the top ruined,mole grip marks near the seals on the chrome and slight leakage.I didn't realise I was that strong!.dave if you do want to drive down to see him call in for me and I will show him the dampers in person.

    I sold both the B6's and B8's to Kieran.

    Both sets were sold as requiring a rebuild with bilstein. I took photos of the dampers especially of the threaded sections at the top which were damaged. They were priced to sell at £30 posted (all 4) for this reason. Anyone that has bought bits from me in the past from the Rallye register or 106OC I hope will vouch for me being upfront and truthful about the parts I have sold.

    It makes me feel sick thinking you chaps have been done over.

    Here and now I state they were all leaking, all the threads needed attention. I had bought them to have rebuilt myself to be re-valved for road rallying.

    I have been touch with Dave on the RR. I will have a look through the photos I took to see if we can identify serial numbers on the shocks themselves. I will see what I can find today.

    Next step I'd take is finding out if he works or if he's studying and try get hold of him through there, if he works I'm sure a simple call explaining that he's scammed and therefore owes a lot of money could be bad for the business reputation for staff, as it's already round Facebook about him!     He's gone to the police and had an officer come out, however it's only one side of the tail. He's committing fraud no matter how small. £10 or a million it's the same thing.

    I think Dave just want to get cracked on, call the police in that area. Make the report get the officers email address and put forward the detailed case. If no joy, small claims court.

    You've got testimony from the guy on Rallye Register, stating he sold them to him and they are the ones he sold on.

    Wow! Reading this makes me wonder if I got anger issues. If I had been ripped off and the person that did it to me had been caught out like this person and I was getting msgs like that, I'd say f@#k it to the refund and wrap one of the shocks round his head before force feeding him the other (this is not me getting involved by the way, just saying how some people, like myself, would react, luckily no one has said they are going to react this way or similar).

    As for the distress part, I'd openly admit I suffer from PTSD, any court would want evidence that this particular thread/sale etc has caused distress, the evidence will take months to get as he'd be monitored the same way I was in the past. Harrassment needs to be more than one occasion, someone turning up at his house once is not Harrassment it's domestic.
    From what I can see, if this was in a court then this rip off lad would be shot down by a judge seeing as the original seller has confirmed the sale and this lad has just gone on to make a quick earn by ripping others off.

    There was a guy a few years ago scammed to a similar extent (he scammed me too). Everyone reported him to the cops, he ended up going to court and got something like a 20month sentence.

    It wouldve been far more satisfying to just drive down and beat his cunt in, which I'm surprised never happens to these guys.

    He contacts police, passes on all the information to the office, statements get taken and it goes from there. More statements the better.

    The B6's i couldn't confirm they leaked as it wasn't apparent but as i stated above they needed a rebuild to cover myself if they did (i haddn't had them on a car).

    As i have already said - they were £30 inc postage for the 4 shocks so i don't feel i have done any injustice to anyone as they could be rebuilt with new seals & oil from (or by) Bilstein and the threaded sections could have been repaired by a good engineer.

    The fact is his for sale advert stated they were all fine and dandy which was not the case.

    Dave & I have been in contact and will continue to help where i can.

    The dampers in pic 1101 are the tops of the B8's
    Pic 1099 are the tops of the B6's
    Pic 1097 are both pairs before i packaged them.

    How much did the little floppy hair faggot sell them on for considering he was fully aware they needed a rebuild? The price of a good used set I imagine?

    I soo wish he lived closer, I'd gladly pay him a friendly visit with the B6's & B8's and see if he had a change of heart on his 'returns policy' with a bit of gentle persuasion.
