Turbo sump

Anyone know how to modify a sump for an oil return for a turbo? Also where do I get the oil feed from?

    Cheers

christmas tree bit and the relevant a/n fitting or whatever your using, some weld, some solder, hell, some use chemical metal (guilty on that one, works fine though....) oil feed can be had from the oil pressure sensor hole, there's adaptors on ebay so you can use the sensor and an oil feed to a turbo

You need a fitting above the oil level in the sump, so as high as possible.

Either a straight push fit barb (so you put a hose on, and use a clip to hold it in place, not as pretty) or an AN fitting thus:

This is an AN fitting extended due to where I needed the placement due to 3" exhaust

    Welded in.

    Inside.

Then AN fittings and a length of pipe (overbraided ideally) up to the bottom of the turbo.

    Here's my old setup:

    Just buy one of these:

And weld it on the sump in a sensible place (as I say, CRITICAL it's above the oil level)

Where can I get one of those fittings from? Did you just drill a hole, fit it, then weld round it??

Yeah please I'm just wondering, I can do it all and I'm handy with tools but I just like to get my head round stuff before I start attempting it so I know what I'm getting in to!

I gave you a link for it on ebay. Yes. Drill hole the right size where you want it (not in way of exhaust, above oil level etc) then weld it on. Sorted.
