How do I remove the oil pump and chain on my VTS engine? Also how do I check/what to look for to see if it's ok or needs replacing? Cheers

Undo the bolts, you need to work it off the lugs then pull it down at the front (furthest away from the chain). It should be fine as it's constantly sitting in a bath of oil. Check the gauze where oil goes in for and shit in it.

To get the chain off remove the crankshaft timing belt pulley and the oil seal housing .

How to do that? Just undo the 22mm in the middle of the crank pulley?
