Exhaust Mount

   Morning all,
   
   Little issue with one of my exhaust mounts its starting to rust and therefore any vibrations the exhaust falls down, whats the best solution? reweld a new one or anywhere to mount the exhaust to as i cant see anywhere

   In all honesty, the chances are that the boot floor is rotten far more than you think, if the hanger has come away. The car's are prone to rot along the boot floor, inner arch seam, and the rot is likely more widespread than you realise, I'd get a good look and poke about.

   oh great ill check it out then, is it an easy fix with new flooring etc?

   I guess it depends on the rot and how handy you are with a welder haha.
   
   I took the route of reshelling my 2003 VTS as it was too far gone.

   my brothers has his own welding company so thats not a problem, Ill check it all out and see what needs doing hope its not too bad

   cut, clean, plate and weld.

   its not the floor, the floor is fine, there is a plate with the hook and thats whats rusted slightly so doesnt look like a bad job but my bro will weld it or sort it out so cheers all
