   hello, im new here so bare with me. i just bought a 00 facelift and its got a couple of problems. when im driving down the road sometimes the heaters and power steering turn off and then turn back on. all of the other electrics are fine. bit scary going dwn the road. and second, when i turn the steering at a stand still there is a knock coming from wat i think is the steering rack. any help would be fantastic. cheers.

   may be mistaken but I think you have a weak battery, get it tested free at halfrauds. Might also be a dodgy earth somewhere but do the battery first

   Get the alternator tested at the same time.

   Isn't there a common issue on Saxos where the heater, PAS and rear demister stop working? It's in the sticky guides.
   Failing that, give the power steering motor a tap with a hammer and see if it works again. If it does, your motor is sticking and it's time to replace.
