Throttle body sizes?

So I was going to do an itb conversion and although it is possible im trying the lazy route first

I was wondering what the throttle body size is on each model of saxo?

I did the maths and max power at 6200 I would need 35mm anything close to that would work.

Sorry to say I do not know all the sizes though the bigger ones are on the 1.6 engine. If your trying just to swap them over from one engine to another its not as easy as it may sound. They don't all work in the same way when it comes to mounting, sensors, idle control and such like. Though its not all that bad as if your only looking at maximum power at 6200rpm you can get this from the MPI engines inlet systems already. It would be better with itb but they cost more and are more complex. What engine do you have anyhow?

Its a 1.1 and I think remember reading it was 25mm stabdard which is far too small and restrictive the maths say anything between 33 and 42mm will have good power and performance although the further past 35mm I go the more difficult town driving and idle setup will be

you may be the only person in the world who wants to throttle body a 1.1. Although I'm concerned the investment will not be worth the gains considering it will probably need an aftermarket ecu and mapping to get proper power gains I look forward to the results.

I seem to be the only person with the will to toy with a 1.1, but the engine is well under tuned so its worth it.

I cant find a single large 36mm throttle body so will be fitting R6 5sl individual throttle bodies these are individual which makes for spacing them out alot easier than others that cant be split.

My biggest issue is the ecu and camshafts I havent sat and calculated the profiles I want yet so thats going to be awkward and getting a saxo remapped is a headache and I dont have the funds to buy a stand alone ecu

I'm intrigued as to what "calculation" you can do to give the throttle body size and the cam profile?!
Can you calculate a cam profile for my car?

far from it kev, sandy has mapped quite a few tu1 engined cars running throttle bodies and dta, ive seen one pull 9k on a std bottom end pushing 110 atw!!

consider it was in a sub 500kg c2, 2 speed ma dogbox and pilotrd bu a 14 year old, goes quite well and sounds epic
