Saxo VTS Engine Conversion

   Woundering if anyone could shed some light on this for me.
   
   I'm trying to source parts for a VTS conversion. And I've sorced an engine which is from a 1998 car and my car is 2003
   
   My question is, if I get the 1998 engine, would I be able to get an unlocked 3 plug ECU and loom and use it with the engine in my car.

   I think so yes. Although all of the sensors etc would have to be changed to 3 plug versions for the loom to plug into them.
   
   Not 100% sure thats true though so might be better off waiting for someone with more knowledge

   Splice the looms is your best bet.

   So the 3 plug loom won't directly fit into a engine that is designed for 1 plug without some persuasion. So I'm best waiting for a 3 plug engine to pop up. Or is it relatively easy to modify a 3 plug loom to fit into a 1 plug engine.
