Using the horn makes the engine studder..

Noticed a rather odd thing today, when i use the horn the car runs like a complete dog..
It studder and runs really rough, there is a noticeable lack of power and the whole car shakes.
Using the horn again will cause this to disappear (giving a few tries)

What is causing this, a bad earth connection somewhere?

    It's a 106 Gti

first of all.... LOL sorry but this is another classic saxo/106 quirk. my saxo did it when putting headlights on lol

id start with the battery and charging system. if everything checks out (battery fine and alternator charging) then disconnect your horn and bridge the connection and try the horn again if it still does it then you know the horn unit itself is grand. next thing is maybe change the stalk over and also check your earths. prob check your earths when checking the battery

    Cheers mate.
Was checking the lights, window heater etc. and it's only when using the horn.
The battery should be 1½ year or so, but i'll have a look tomorrow.

    Thanks

The battery show 13,12v with the car turned off and 14,2v with the car running idle.
Where can i find the locations of the earth connection in the engine?
Because i'm getting this problem aswell.. http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=471235
