Be conversion.

Have been looking at boxes on ebay.
Now there are plenty that fit to the tu block. However, all the ones I find are running the cable type linkages. Is I possible to take this off the box and u$e the modified bent linkage in its place???

    Yes. that's what everyone does.

Cheers m8 thats what I will do then
  4. #4
    just to be sure

the bit thats circled just unbolts and the put the modified link arm in its place down the back of box???

also, when running the satchel be mount kit do the shafts need to be different than a normal be conversion due to the engine being moved 20mm???

depends what you mean by "normal" be conversion, but yes you will need shafts specific to your conversion.

yep, unbolt the bracket and swap the arms, dont let the shaft drop into the box when fitting, easiest method to get the linkages to work nicely is a satchshift

Yeah I have an ma satchshift so will get the b.e arm.
Looking at the spoox kit with the shafts and hubs. But idealy wanna go satchel mounts. And maybe see if hey can do shafts aswell.

they can yes, not sure on the standard track kit, but the very wide track one can use a standard 406 shaft 206 or maybe 306 might do the job, speak to colin or dave, you're not far away either in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah ill send them an email. See what they can do if I get there mount kit and a pair of shafts to fit,
Can I use any b,e hub machined to fit saxo strut?? Id need to modify the exhaust aswell I imagine due to new engine placement??

does the satchshift be arm replace the selector on the be box, so i wont need to get a selector arm from peugeot.. thats what it looks like to me??

Satchell will provide the new selector arm and longer linkages to suit their mounts if needs be! Colin welded my shafts for me a few months ago. I bought some gti6 shafts, cut them and tacked them at the right length, then sent them to him for welding. Standard manifold and exhaust will be fine. Colin can also provide the machined hubs.
