    Hello guys
Yesterday I was changing spark plugs and this electric piece snapped from the coil pack.

What is it for? and can i get a new one? Or does the car get affected by not having it on?

It looks like a ground connection, but what is the black filter?

It's to avoid interferences on your radio.

Never had one on mine and had no problems, all depends on what head unit you have.

If it's a 3 plug ECU model, it's important that the capacitor is connected, it's NOT for interference. It's to help the ECU detect what cylinder has just fired so that it can use sequential injection instead of batch, to improve economy and emissions.

With it disconnected, it may show an EML with a P1327 code.

    Shouldn't really affect running.
