    The Venetian Red Saxo went to the scrap man 2 years ago today funny enough. I've got a gold 106 now that's gone full race car style. I'll get a thread started soon maybe. See how this next lockdown goes!!

    Too busy polishing his Volvo and bumping old posts of his VTS and greetin about polishing that as well.
    
    Not only that, but he now has a Yellow Seicento, so no doubt that'll be getting the full polish as well.

    i'm here. not a big poster but allways looking. the mrs talked me into keeping my 10sax as we went for a blast christmas day, me in the saxo, mrs in r53jcw and daughter in mad 230bhp r56. they both said i should sell my mini project and keep the saxo 106 hybrid as mini's are common! ok then :-) needs an axle though!

    thats the way of things -- good ones that have no rust are getting very rare
    my son in law has collected 5 106 rallyes and gtis and due to move now needs space
    Idid warn you all years ago to start cllecting good rust free ones as it s the last small sensibly priced car -- like the old mini and they will be collectors for them out there.
    my friends tommy makinen evo6 went to auction last week
    
    no1 of 50 -- 11k mileage from new --made over 100K at auction
    so lots of money out there looking for an investment

    The price of a TME is scary, could get good one 10-15 years ago for about £5k.

    This scene seems to have went very quiet for a few years now but I suspect these forums will start to busy up again. The Saxo's seem to be of a decent price point now but still limited number of for sale ads.
    
    I see my old 2 tone VTS hasn't been MOT'd since 2015 (S4XOD / SH51ZBZ) so assume it's in the bin now.
    
    Considering picking one up and seeing if the value rises.
    
    I see a few familiar names on here from the old SSC days.

    bought mine just over a year ago coming from 205GTIs and the drivers forum to this one and this one seemed dead, hope it does come back as its hitting me right in the nostalgia, i assume since facebook came along its easier to share images ect instead of the good old days of photobucket links was a bit of a pain
