Drop Links Wont Fit Back In

    Video should explain https://www.youtube.com/shorts/EGyxceYSUbs

I have removed a drop link, and I am trying to get the new one in. but the angle of the ARB means it doesnt fit.

    Does this mean:
    1. My ARB is bent/upside down
    2. I need to bend the ARB drop link to fit, and if so, how?
    3. I'm being an idiot

Answer is 2 and 3, I'm an idiot.

I didn't know you could bend the ball joint to fit into place, I tried with my hands and it wouldnt work. I'm new to cars so i'm learning as I go.

If anyone reads this in the future who is having trouble angling the drop link. Put the thread of the new drop link into the top hole, and then you can use that as leverage to manipulate the ball joint into the correct angle. Once the ball joint is angled, you should be able to fit.

At first I wasn't sure if maybe you were trying to do one at a time, which leaves one under lots of tension, but you've got both front wheels off the ground - which is the correct way to do it.

I always attached the bottom one first into the ARB itself, then into the hole on the strut.
