Everyone's Opinion please.

   Hey
   
   My gear box is going in my Vtr, now I have heard that any gear box from a saxo will fit in, is this true.
   
   People say that, if I put a vts in there, will increase my top end - if I put a 1.4 in there will increase my accleration - is it true or people pulling my leg? LOL
   
   My has got a 106 Quicksilver gearbox, would that fit?
   
   Any help would be helpfull.

   no for the VTS box. the VTS box is shorter ratio than your current box. so you might be a tad quicker through the gears?

   a 1.1 gearbox will give you the most acceleration

   I dont think the quicksilver gearbox will fit either matey..

   im pretty sure the 106 box will fit in a saxo, i think my mates got a 106 rallye in his...
   
   if you want accleration, you should go for the 1.1 as it has shorter gear ratio's...but that will decrease your top end mind...

    I tried to put a quicksilver in my car but it wouldnt fit..
    I couldnt get it into reverse..
    But mine was a furio, not a vtr so maybe they differ

    Sure there was a post on here about someone putting in a gearbox, how hard is it?
