#3for a godd spray youll need pretty much a ful primer, full tin of black and about half a tin of laquer, for each wheel, probably cost ya about a tenner a wheel, maybe less. sand down any curb marks so there flatish, you can never see curb marks on black wheels, make sure there absoulty clean and free from dust and gime. sand down with some fine paper and scotch brite, all you need to do is sand the shine of the old silver colour and any bubbles in the old paint. wipe all the paint dust off, mask up the tyres with masking tape, put the tape right up to the rim of the tyres, shake can of primer very well, (if your spraying in garage put some heaters on theyll dry a hell of a lot better and youll get a better finish, then apply a nice thick coat of primer make sre all the edges are are painted. leave to dry for a while, doesnt usually take long to dry if there is a nice warm room your doing it in. shake can of black paint very well, apply nice and even coats of paint, dont rush it as it will look shite if you get a run, put the first coat on leave to dry forfew mins or so, then just carry on applying the paint till you get a nice solid black colour. leave to dry, shake can of laquer very well and apply very gentle light coats of laquer, as laquer runs very easily! and again a rush job usall looks shite! if you can try to spray all four wheels at the same time, as betime youve sprayed the last wheel the first one will have dried. if you have a heat gun this will speed up the drying process. rember dont rush! and also make sure the area behind the wheel is i.e thefloor or worktable is free from dust, as you will get a shite finish if theres dust behind, hope this is of some use to ya, and good look!
