will a standard vt suspension kit ie, dampers and springs fit a 1.1 will it lower the front by much and will it be better round corners?

The weight of a 1.1 engine is lighter than the VT engines and therefore you'll probably increase the ride height. -

#6This has always confused me...
Some kits say they are universal Saxo fitting... they say will lower standard models 60mm, sports models 40mm. I'm guessing this is because the sports models are already lower than the standard ones. But these don't seem to have anything to do with engine weight. What gives? -
#7yeah this is why i asked i dont understand either, but people on here know alot more than i do and i guess it obvious now i think of it that the engine wont be as heavy..

#8I guess the only way to see would be try! Sports models are heavier, yes, but they are lower to begin with, so surely there must be some cancellation between the two effects?

#16i have VTR springs on my 1.1 and it actually put it down lowwer than the staded drop in a vtr
aint the 1.1 10mm higher as standard and with the engine wiegh diff it dropps it lowwer?? -

#18Just to add to this, Spax 40mm springs for VTR/VTS and Spax 40mm springs for 1.1 have the same code (S005006)
