    im looking to tune my VTR i want more BHP was wondering what you think is the most reliable way to achive this?

    Full exhaust system, de-cat, manifold, enclosed air filter, cams, remap, port & polished head.

    Then for further or bigger increases, throttle boddies, turbo, supercharger etc.

    Depends what power you want and how much you have to spend.

    or get a VTS engine mate if you can afford the insurance

    Got a full stainless system and a inductiom kit, what is involved in remapping?

    Remapping should really only be done when you have cams.

    As Dan says above- there isnt much point re-mapping the car unless you get cams

    what cams are available for the VTR? what companys do remapping in the coventry area?

    firstly its CAM not CAMS! the VTR is single cam, there are loads of cams available for the VTR check out THIS THREAD (click me) for more info on cams and help choosing which type would be most beneficial to you.

    Re-mapping only really needs to be done if you need to change the fuelling!
