i need to replace the timing belt on me vts ,how much should i be looking at paying supplied and fitted ,just dont want to get ripped off

#3Think I paid gmc about 26 quid for a race belt?? cant remember though.
Best to get set up proper, as citroen set the belt tension with a tensiometer thingy wotsit.

#7genuine vts timing belt is £38 and the tensioners are £65, also you may want to renew the water pump as its only £35 and makes sense to do while its all apart. If you get it done by citroen it varies from £200-£260 depending on the dealers labour charges. If you decide to do it yourself then have a look at the following thread as i made a guide with a few pics, http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65315 its not that hard to do but it can take a couple of attemts to set the perfect tension if doing it without a SEEMS belt guage.
