#2filters can get from anywhere that sells parts.
halfruads etc..
prob wont be more than £5-10.
ive got a whole box full here lol...
oil wise i use fully synthetic.
think there is a guide somewhere isnt there by oil man. -
#3also oil your average cost is 20-35 for 5L
-
#410-40w, something like Total from Citroen or GTX Magnex (i think). i got my oil from Citroen and it cost me £12, but i think its normally about £22
as for the filter your better spending an extra few pence and getting a proper citroen one -
#5ah right forgot bout that ryan il have a look now, guy sells performance spark plugs, may see how much they are, i know they wont make a much of a difference if any at all but ive no idea when they were last replaced

#6Forget using the GTX magnex shite... I was helping luke out and during a bit of research it turned out it was only semi-synth yet costed a bomb. Also clever wording on the packet makes come across to the buyer that its fully synth
10W-40 or 5W-40 is the recommended oil viscosity's for the engine. depends on the type of journeys you use it for.
shorter journeys use the 5W-40 as it gets to work sooner. -
#7Well your helpin me change it at easter mate! ive asked oil man, see if i can get oil filter oil and spark plugs from him
-
#8landy put 5w-40 in his and it made his engine run even worse and it tappet its tits offQuote:Forget using the GTX magnex shite... #13what type of oil did he use??? mineral, semi-synth or fully? loads of things to consider when choosing oil. I pay a farking fortune for the oil I've got but then again i need the engine to be in tip top condition... plus it's cheaper than repairing it.
