Is it poosible to wire up the VT* dials on a 1.1? Are the wires all in the right places? If i was to go down the breakers and pick up a VT* speedo would it work? If it would what would you do about the difference in mileage? As i dont really want to have a pod just for a speedo. REP given Cheers for any help

#2Yes, but certain things which are different wont work. For example my temperature dial doesn't work, it only lights up red if the cars hot as my car wasnt' built with the sensors.

#3So are all the right wires for the rev counter behind my current dials then and is it as simple as plug in?

#4I wanna know this as was the GF cousin has a 1.1 and wants VT* dials will the rev counter work??

#7no they wont you wll have to modify the wiring and get wires to a sensor to tell the revs, the mileage will also be out aswell. what year are we on about here? that will help more to answer the question fully

#9If the car currently has a REV dial... it should work... mine works fine.

#12Old thread bought back up but it will save the moaning of ''Search'' (Which i did to find this)
I'm in the same situation, just got a clock and no ev counter. Want to fit new dial cluster and i know theres a guide on here how to hook up the rev counter (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=177153 - for those who are too n00bish to search)
I have a few questions.
1. Are the VTR/S Rev limit the same as the 1.1 on the Mk2's?
2. how do i go about wiring up the temperature gauge?
Thanks
Dan
