original grill

    has anyone tried to mesh the original grill? I think it looks better meshed, but i want to keep the citroen logo at front.

    i tried this a while ago and it didnt turn out too good, lol

    Leckie had one of these and it did look good though

    im sure you can get the mk2 grill of 1.1 or something and they look like that with the outside bit colour coded.

    look at my avatar.its easy enough.remove entire grill then remove backing then bend mesh to shape and screw down then put it back on

    some one has done it with a mark 1 grill and managed to leave the chevrons there but i dunno how they've done it

    gonna have a go this weekend, going to nip down the scrappy and buy a grill, so if i mess it up im not grill-less.

    i know for a fact im going to have problems finding the paint for my car, so im just hoping blacks going to look okay...

    If you need to find the colour of the car, there is loadsa info on where to find it on internet, then get dwn halfords and get a can a spray paint! got all the stuff today, guna have go in morning!

    i did mine on saturday but just taken my car to the body shop to get the bumper strips colour coded and the standard grill sprayed in icelantic grey genna look peng!!! recommend standard grills bein meshed!!
