relocation of oil filter vtr

    I have have brought a raceland manifold and am still unsure on how to relocated the oil filter! anyone know anything about this?

    What most people do is simply buy a Mk1 oil filter and thread from citroen, they will probably have to order the thread that holds the filter though but said that it's the easiest way and IIRC it was less than £10. Just make sure you block the whole where the Oil dip stick goes as it wont stay in place with a Mk2 one maybe try a Mk1, when iv helped to it in the past i never bothered, just covered the whole.

    Not too hard mate, just fiddly. Il help you do it when the time comes with ur dad if he's around or just take it down to Owens, he'll do it for cheap and pretty quickly once its up on the ramp

    Might take Owen's up on that... would be so much easier than farting around at home doing it.

    Car is a 106 quiksilver but the 1.4 overheated and died horribaly think f1 smoke screen!

    had a 1.1 full engine from a 2002 saxo in the garage.......

    its all fitted now me and in_da_weeds carried it out on friday nite. The only think not metioned in your guide is the fact that we had 2 modifie the oil pressure sensor cause the manifold was hitting it when we put it on. So we had 2 hacksaw it shorter and replace the connector the a small slide on pin.

    ye i need to put that in, i managed to melt mine lol so now its nice and short and got some more wire and covered in foil and its all good now no problems so far
