before i go out and buy a supersprint manifold, will it go on my mk2 vtr 98hp without relocating the oil filter? ive searched for this and in a few threads it says you can and you cant.

where do the sensors plug into aswell pictures would be nice also

do i need any new gaskets or anthing else when fitting it thanks.

no i think you need the relocation kit mate

Check with someone like www.Kam-Racing.com as they supply manifolds for both R and S so they will have the 110% correct answer for you

i still havent fitted mine so couldnt tell you, but i dont think you have to move it tbh

you will need a new gasket and the studs too, there not expensive from the dealer either

as for the sensors the one at the bottom of the manifold will have to go into a lambda sleeve to keep the light on the dash out, the one that goes into the top of the manifold there are 3 holes on the exhaust so can go into on of them, the top one will be best, the other two have bolts with copper washers on to seal them up

So you need the lambda sleave also? How much is that and from where?
  6. #6
yeah mate best to have one, just screw the sensor in and tie it out of the way, it will trick the ecu to thinking the cat is still there

phone GMC motorsport and speak to john, he will sort you out with one, there about 24 pound all in

Ah ok, think i'll fit my at the garage and i'll just hand it too him as the one i had on my fiesta already came with a sensor whole thing.

cheers, i just seen a new gmc one also that doesnt need oilfilter relocation.
so i dont know which one to get. but i will definatley look into the lamba sleeves. do you only need the 1 or isit 2?
  9. #9
just one mate, it tricks the ecu to thinking the cat is still there, the other sensor will go into manifold at the top
  10. #10
i just got an email back from kam racing saying theres a strong chance it wil need relocation with the supersprint manifold.
let us know how it goes when u fit it yea pred
