engine conversion, Helping out a friend

   Basically he has just put a S1 rallye 16v engine in his rallye, And it won't start, Symptom's
   areno spark or fuel
   
   He's tried:
   
   I have tried all the earths
   I have checked the loom
   I have checked the fuel pump
   I have checked for spark and there isnt one
   Fuel isnt going through the injecters
   The crank senser is newish
   The coil pack is newish
   I have checked all the fuses
   and now I am stuck.

   Any ideas? someone said try unlocking the ECU again?

   might be wrong but my guess would be the ecu if you haveckeaked the rest.

   Immobilised ecu cuts feed to injectors and coil pack, so absence of both suggests ecu to me.
   
   There was some good advice from RyanMT (i think) on this very issue about 2 months ago in this engine forum...

   my conversion done the same today. I reset the tilt switch and it sorted the problem.
