raceland manifold

why on earth do you need mark 1 oil filter and what ever why didnt they just manufacture the raceland to fit mk2's no problem , its a lot of fuss just for a manifold? can someone explain properly i have a x reg vtr phase 2

    1 second matey

Raceland cant help it if the decent saxo's were MK1..

    Nah..

Guess its cheaper for raceland to just make one design..

Use the search function matey, there have been tons of these oil filter relocation threads..

    Search lol

Cheaper for them as james said matey gotta love the mk1 VTS
And also easier, always more comapnies such as GMC, BTB and loads more who offer direct fitting onces i think

    Hope that all helped mate

the simple answer is the mk1 came first.

I can imagine that if they were to retool to accommodate the psa revise then the cost would be higher.

if you don't want any faffing then you get a supersprint. if you want a bargin that's almost as good then you get a Raceland.

so just really need a mk1 oil filter
  8. #8
yeah mk1 oil filter! so its not really alot of hassle is it?!
  9. #9
Yep just that basically mate if you want that manifold
  10. #10
is that really it just a mk1 oil filter , what about all the other stuff they listed when i bought it then?
  11. #11
What else did they list matey?
If the rest of your exhaust is fine and your happy with it then the oil filter will be all and then manifold just bolts on

There's loads of guides around for ya
  12. #12
    oil filter insert , m10 tap , m10 screw
  13. #13
their all to do with the oil filter! will come to a total of about £10 at the most from citroen
  14. #14
what i need the m10 tap and screw for though?
